1.     Chamomile Tea

Chamomile tea is perhaps the most popular tea when it comes to relaxation and insomnia. It also has mild tranquilising properties, which reduce pain, anxiety and induce sleep. The antioxidant apigenin known to reduce anxiety and stress is also abundant in this tea.

 

2.     Lavender Tea

Lavender is a flower best known for its soothing and relaxing scent. And though it’s popularly used in aromatherapy, lavender buds can also be used in making tea. If you are facing trouble falling asleep due to anxiety and stress, lavender is the perfect option you could go for.

Lemon balm tea is a part of the mint family. Due to this, it has a refreshing minty taste and is a popular drink for both taste and medicinal benefits. A study conducted by the Indian Journal of Pharmacology found that lemon balm extracts were highly effective in reducing anxiety.

Herbals teas are safe and healthy. However, they cannot be used as a treatment to eliminate insomnia. Although many studies have proven its efficiency, herbal tea doesn’t have the same effect on everyone.
